Labia	The external lips of the vulva of the female horse (or other mammal).
Lactation	The production of milk by the female horse or mare.
Lead change	A lead change is the change of leading legs of the horse at the canter.
Lame	A horse is lame when a disease or injury causes it to carry its weight not equally divided over the four legs.
